Source integration within my writing goes beyond just imputing a source into my essay, it gives my text meaning, context, and makes it credible. At the beginning of the semester as I integrated sources into my essay I wouldnt give much meaning to the quote, I would imput it and it would seem out of place.

These quotes made my writing very choppy and not clear. Not even were they just put in random spots, I didnt do well with analyzing the meaning of the quote to my text.
As the year went on, I started getting better at finding quotes that fit well into my essays. Not even just this but I was able to analyze the quote in relation to the text surrounding it. Imputing sources has become more than just randomly in my essays, but I have also been able to build around them in Barclay paragraphs.

Learning how to integrate sources gave my readers clarity while also helping me to build trust with them as well. Not only does it make my writing better in general, it gives me credibility knowing that my information is not just made up but factual.
Sometimes while im integrating sources it helps me to finish the essay as it gives me new ideas that I can use to further extend the essay that I am writing. So not only is integrating sources a good tool to make my writing more credible, it is also a good tool to help me generate new concepts and ideas.
